Hunter Morgan arrived at Motor Sport Ranch in Cresson, Texas without his #59 Yamaha RS-600. It was in repair stages at the RaceworX shop from damage sustained during the last round three weeks prior in turn 3 at Hallett. Hunter moved up from 23rd to 15th in overall Expert Points for the 2012 CMRA Championship Points race season by finishing with two top tens and a 4th place during Round 4. However he fell to 25th spot after being unable to finish any of his races at Hallett. Hunter rebounded to 23rd spot following last weekends race action at MSRC. Added to the pressure of arriving without the Sprint Bike, Hunter and Eric Williams were unable to make the grind, due to the ongoing problem with The Team Lone Star Track Days endurance team bike, that was unable to make the start for the 4-hour endurance, again experiencing electronic/fuel management problems. RaceworX owner Jim Cambora brought the Team Huntermorganracing.com Yamaha Sprint bike to the track early Sunday morning, mended and ready to be fitted with replacement body work. Cambora then set to work to fine tune Hunter’s Yamaha R6 re-worked suspension, as most of the recent improvements were re-set to zero following the incident at Hallett. RaceworX ability, and working with Bill Syfan at MSRC, this past weekend helped Hunter move past the crash from last round.

Hunter’s best results came in three classes where he finished 7th in the Expert classes; Super Bike B, C; Super Stock C, and a 10th place finish in the first race on the rebuild bike in Super Stock B. “The Huntermorganracing.com team is getting closer to finding the sweet spot for the bike and myself. I have increased my physical training programs which has helped with my stamina and endurance on the bike.”

Hunter posted on his Facebook Fan Page “I couldn’t do it without these people – Jerry Morgan, Moto Liberty Dallas, Taichi Moto, Lone Star Track Days, Dunlop Tires, Vortex Racing, Woodcraft Cfm, Whoopies Cycles, Jimmy Cambora, RaceworX, J.t. Bates, Silkolenestore.com, Arai Helmets, Motorcycle Tow Co., Marc Marcom, Bill Syfan, Robert and Conner Blevins, Mark Niemi. Without these people I wouldnt be able to do what I love! Thank you all for the support.”

With damage to Hunter’s #59 Yamaha from the incident at Hallett, and round 5 approaching in three weeks, help was needed to get Hunter back on track. Thanks to all involved helping us get this completed. “Came off of a bad day last race weekend, ready for this weekend to get back on the saddle and do what I love.

See y’all at Cresson!!”.

An unfortunate racing accident during my first race on Sunday at Hallett, along with mechanical issues with the loaner bike furnished by Will Kitchens lowered my expectations from Round #4 at HMRC. Thanks to Moto Liberty and RS-Taichi Leathers and their quality racing gear, I was able to avoid any serious injuries. Following the crash I landed on some long sharp shard shaped objects that looked like knives, from an old piece of PVC pipe used for drainage. Thanks to CMRA officials, Walter and Ryan, that hazard is gone.

Thanks to the corner workers and race control for having quick yellow flags, Barry, Ryan and Walter and the EMTs for their quick response to the scene and for helping with both of us that were down from the crash. Glad that neither of us was injured badly in the crash. Prayers go out to the other riders who were involved in other crashes and did not fair as well.

Thanks to all the team huntermorganracing.com sponsors and supporters I have backing me.

I raced for the second time on the Lone Star Track Days Big Bike Endurance Team. Mechanical/Electrical gremlins again created problems at the first of the 5 Hour Endurance race for our Lone Star Track Days race team, but we managed to ride the back up bike for part of the race.

Chasin’ a dream, and I’m working my way to the top slowly but surely and I could not do it without these people.

First of all I would like to thank God, for giving me THE man Jerry Morgan who is the best dad I could ever ask for!!

I’m in the best race suit and gear on the market thanks to Moto Liberty and RS Taichi, second to none! Thanks to Taichi Moto. Mac Man” McNamara and Mark Nemi and the entire team. Big thanks to Allan Campbell and Whoopies Cycles for the sticky Dunlops on my Sprint Bike.

A “going the extra mile” thanks to RaceworX- Jimmy C for his awesome tuning, much needed and appreciated help, and advice. Suspension tuning shaved time off my laps at Hallett. And a “race motor running like a dream” thanks to Steve Upchurch.

I’d also like to give a HUGE thanks to Zac Chapman for being at the track and the awesome advice and faith he always shares. Thanks to contingency support from Vortex Racing, Woodcraft Cfm, Whoopie’s Cycles, RaceworX, J.T. Bates, Silkolenestore.com, Arai Helmets. And much appreciated support from Motorcycle Tow Co.~ Marc Marcom, Bill Syfan, Mark Nemi, Robert and Conner Blevins.

Thanks to Steve Guynes for helping me all these years and M2TX.com for the awesome website. It was truly an AWESOME weekend and I can’t wait to turn the throttle on at Motor Sport Ranch in June!

Thanks everybody
